I was nervous about the process of selling my Wrigleyville condo because I was out of state and it required significant renovations and oversight that I could not handle myself. From holding us back on “price improvements” before we’d fully exercised the market to working with everyone along the selling process, Hadley was amazing. Although my first knowledge about Hadley Rue was through a random advertisement of his, when I met with him in person, he pretty much mentioned things I was going to ask him about before I had the chance. Everything he said, such as that I would only be working with him or his one assistant (who was also at the meeting), to whether or not to sell my old place as-is or not, were right on point, and the polar opposite of what my former real estate agent wanted to do. And these were matters that he mentioned spontaneously, before I even had time to ask about them. Hadley and his team were extremely professional and organized. The photography was miles beyond that of my prior agent, and Hadley got the place sold for a sum about five figures higher than the best offer from my prior agent. When there were some emergency things that needed to be taken care of, Hadley and his team were there to get things resolved. On top of all that, he negotiated a really great deal on the place I bought, when real estate prices were still at the high side generally. Because of him, I was able to sell high and buy low, which is the way to do it. I highly recommend him, without any doubt or hesitation.

Hands Down An All Around Great Realtor!
We recently worked with Hadley to sell two places and purchase our new home. It was not an easy landscape to navigate, especially on the seller front, but Hadley made the process as smooth as it could have been from listing to closing, and beyond. He answered every frantic text, call, and email, helped us re-strategize as needed, and made sure to personally be at every showing and appointment. For each transaction, he walked us through all the expected steps and made sure that everything was buttoned up to the T so that there were no delays or issues. Even for things Hadley didn’t have to do, he was always willing to help out to take the burden off of us. And once all was done and we were settled into our new home, Hadley still remained available and eager to help us with some extraneous issues. Hadley has a passion for what he does and it shows. He makes you feel like you’re the only and most important client, and goes above and beyond. And on a personal level, Hadley is a sincere pleasure to work with and a joy to be around.
